2012 New Hope Outdoor Arts & Crafts Festival
If you know an artist or fine craftsman who should show with us in 2012, encourage them to apply. We love new talent!
We are excited to invite you to join us for a bigger and more exciting New Hope Arts and Crafts Festival to be held on September 29-30, 2012. This year’s Festival will be held at the New Hope-Solebury High School on West Bridge Street, just a few minutes walk from the center of the business district.
We will be able to provide booth space with great visibility to all artists on a paved parking area in a park like setting. The large paved area, which faces West Bridge Street, provides an urban, park-like setting, with level ground for set up and most booths will have a few extra feet for storage/seating/ space behind. Premium spots at the front of the high school or providing corner views or 2-sided access are available for only $25 more, but are available on a limited basis.
Admission is free for visitors, with ample parking. Festival hours are from 10am to 6pm both days. We will have a food court with a variety of festival foods to draw both visitors and exhibitors, and music for your enjoyment. We have no threat of our venue being cancelled or flooded, but are still within a short walk from Main Street and the Delaware River.
We will be advertising in major publications, social media, rack cards, banners, signage and e-mail blasts throughout the Eastern Seaboard. We will also have an ad book which will be placed in 50,000 local papers prior to the Festival and distributed in local businesses and B&B’s. VisitNewHope.com advertises the Festival year round, and we will have a Festival website that promotes you and your website by linking to it, this summer. Please like our FaceBook page!
And always, we will feature a wonderful exhibitors’ get-together to celebrate the Festival. This year is going to be our biggest and best! Please Join Us…
The 2011 Festival was our best yet, and the weather was great both days! Over 150 artists & crafters and dozens of volunteers combined to provide a high-quality Festival. The exhibitors were fantastic and the people of our community and all of the surrounding areas were wonderfully supportive, and large numbers of people came from a long way for their yearly visit to buy gifts for themselves and friends…
This esteemed event highlights the work of premier artists and artisans specializing in photography, watercolors, oils, pastels, pen and ink drawings, silver and gold jewelry, ceramics, wearable art, glass, wood, sculpture and furniture. Exhibitors sell the works on display in booths lining Union Square. The festival is rain or shine and admission is free to the public, who show up in anticipation of a fantastic show.
