Friday Night Fireworks over the Delaware River
Every Friday Night at 9:30PM
May 24 (Memorial Weekend) to August 30 (Labor Day Weekend)
The fireworks displays will occur every Friday evening starting 24th May (Memorial Day weekend) through 31st August (Labor Day weekend), weather conditions permitting,
at 9:30 PM and last between 8 and 10 minutes.
For updates on whether there will be Fireworks this Friday night:
Go to Friday Night Fireworks on Friday afternoon.
Friday Night Fireworks are fun summer events for residents and visitors.
Fireworks launch from about 500 feet south of the New Hope Lambertville Free Bridge, about 500 feet offshore on the Pennsylvania side of the Delaware river. This is strategically located so viewers from both Lambertville and New Hope will be able to see the display. Most of the towns’ river merchants will have a great view of the fireworks, some of which reach 280 ft above the launch site.
If the weather is clear and the river is normal, we will set off the fireworks, so you don’t to contact anyone.
Fireworks will be cancelled for adverse conditions, (i.e., 25 miles per hour), thunderstorms, lightening or dangerous river conditions. Cancellations are decided by noon of the Friday of the event and are posted at www.newhopelambertvillefireworks.com and Fireworks Facebook Page after noon on Fridays.
If information isn’t posted, you can call the New Hope Chamber of Commerce at 215-862-9990, the Bucks County Visitors Center at 215-862-5030, or the Lambertville Chamber of Commerce at 609-397-0055, after 2:00 PM.
