Mark Your Calendar! New Hope is getting the full hitch appearance of the Budweiser Clydesdales!! September 10th at 2:00. The 3 truck Convoy that carries the horses, beer wagon, tack, etc should arrive at the Eagle Firehouse around 12:30pm. They will have parking in the grass field next to the firehouse if you wish to come and watch the team get tacked up before the parade. It is also a great opportunity for close up pictures. Fire Company personnel will be directing you to the parking area. There will also be drinks and hot dogs available for a small donation. Bathrooms and a firehouse tour will also be available.
The parade should depart the firehouse around 2pm, and head down Bridge Street into town, and then proceed South on Main Street.
First introduced in 1933, after the repeal of Prohibition, the Clydesdales have served as living symbols of not just Budweiser, but also the unconquerable American spirit.
Famous worldwide for their appearances in parades, television broadcasts, and even Presidential inaugurations, they're now set to make their most important appearance yet - the one with you! Hang out with the hitch and get your picture taken with these living legends.
