Ghost Tours of New Hope • Dates Ongoing
Main St. & Ferry St., Fridays and Saturdays in October, tour starts at 8PM. Follow a lantern-led “walk” along picturesque streets where you’ll learn about the doings of such places as the towpath itself; or see the phantom Hitchhiker who may pass you in the moonlight; or see the historic inn where Aaron Burr appears from time to time and stares with sightless eyes… plus new exciting stories have been added to the Tour. – FF
Haunted Halloween Rides (Teen/Adult) • Dates Ongoing
New Hope Ivyland Express | Rides depart 7:30 & 8:30 PM
Take a ride on the dark side onboard the Haunted Halloween Train. Do you trust yourself to be at the mercy of your own Nightmares? When this train leaves the safety of the station, you are tossed into the hands of the unknown. Our creatures are sure to frighten the strongest of heart, and test the nerve of all onboard. This event is rated PG-13 and recommend for teens and adults. Train runs select dates in October.
Trick or Treat Train Rides (Kids) • Dates Ongoing
New Hope Ivyland Express | Rides depart 7:30 & 8:30 PM
Bring the kids to ride aboard this spooky train. Children of all ages are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite Halloween costumes, helping to make the train a scary sight. Afterwards, trick or treat around the New Hope train station for more surprises! Trick or Treat bags, assorted toys and candy will be given out onboard as well as at the station! All ages welcome! – FF
Pumpkinfest at Shady Brook Farm | Weekends October 4-31, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. | Bring the kiddos for a day down on the farm that they’ll never forget! The Shady Brook Fall Fest is chock full of fun and adventure. Find the perfect pumpkin, explore the 5 acre corn maze, and so much more. For one low admission price, come for the day and stay into the evening at PumpkinFest After Dark. - FF
Hellerlick’s Fall Festival | Daily until November 3, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. It’s time for some good ol’ fashioned fun on the farm! Explore this 18-acre farm, which includes over 45 activities for children and adults. Take a hayride, get lost in the corn maze or try your hand at pumpkin bowling!
Escape Rooms: “Witches in The Woods” Or “Murder in The Woods” October 4, 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. | Pennsbury Manor, Morrisville, PA | Back by popular demand, Pennsbury Manor’s Escape Rooms transport you back in time to solve serial murder or witchcraft mystery. Space is limited. Reservations required. Not recommended for children younger than 13 yrs. Cost: $35
Oktoberfest at Triumph Brewery, New Hope | October 5th - 11AM - October 6 1AM. German food, German beer, and German music. It's fun for the entire family. To start of the event will be the traditional tapping of the first barrel of Oktoberfest by New Hope's Mayor Keller at noon. Activities start at 4:30pm, including -Feats of Strength and Dexterity: Stein Holding Contest -Pretzel eating competition -Cornhole & Giant Jenga on the patio (weather permitting) + more to be announced! 12-4pm: Firehouse Polka Band, 8pm-10pm: Rich Scannella Group. Raise your beer and bratwurst to celebrate at our 5th Annual October Feast with German food & drink and family-friendly fun on Sat & Sun, Oct 12 & 13! 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Pay-as-you-go in our Food, Beer, Wine & Spirits Garden. Washington Crossing Fall Brewfest | Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 12:30 PM – 4:30 PM. Enjoy the flavors of fall beers in a beautiful outdoor setting! Tickets are available online only for $45. A very limited number of designated driver tickets are also available. During the event, attendees can sample a wide variety of ciders, pumpkin beers, harvest ales, and sour beers from dozens of regional and national breweries.

Friday, October 11th - 27th. The Rocky Horror Show is alive at Bucks County Playhouse! The show is back and better than ever for its LAST YEAR at Bucks County Playhouse! Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show, a musical that inspired the 1975 classic cult film, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, follows innocent couple Brad and Janet as they seek shelter at a mysterious old castle on a dark and stormy night, where they encounter transvestite Dr. Frank N Furter, his “perfect” creation Rocky, and an assortment of other crazy creatures. Specters and Spirits: Ghost Tour and Whiskey Tasting | Only 6 events between October 17th- 31st at Villa Vitos | Located along the scenic Delaware River, New Hope's history and that of American whiskey in Pennsylvania parallel in many ways. Let’s discover where their stories cross. Each whiskey is thoughtfully paired with each of the six haunted sites on the tour.

It's the Great Pumpkin at Music Mountain Theater | OCTOBER 5 – 26, 2019, Saturday @ 11am and 1pm. Join us for our original, annual, interactive Halloween happening full of silly skits and spooky songs like “Love Potion #9”, “Purple People Eater”, and “Monster Mash”, and meet The Great Pumpkin! And if you arrive 30 minutes prior to curtain, you can partake in our pre-performance events like our Halloween costume contest and a trick-or-treat walkabout with your favorite fairy tale characters. - FF
Monster Mash Family Mud Run | October 20 | This 1.5 mile obstacle course challenge is suitable for the whole family. Get muddy climbing through different obstacles on the property of YMCA Camp Carr. Come in costume for muddy Halloween fun (no masks please) and join us for complimentary seasonal refreshments after the run!
37th Annual Lambertville Autumn House Tour with the Lambertville Historical Society • October 20th, 11AM - 5PM | Tickets
Our tour features beautiful homes and historic sites within walking distance of each other in Lambertville. This is a self-guided walking tour throughout homes. Purchase a ticket either in advance or on the day of the tour. With your ticket in hand on the day of the tour, pick up the tour booklet either at Marshall House (60 Bridge St.) or City Hall (18 York St.) and begin your walk to sites in town. Volunteer docents will help guide you through each site. There is a map that suggests a route to the tour sites in town, although tour sites can be visited in any order you’d like. The entire tour takes from 2-3 hours.

Annual Lambertville Halloween Parade and Costume Contest | This annual event has been sponsored by the City of Lambertville for over 75 years, and is made possible through the generous donations made by local organizations and businesses. This year's parade will take place on Sunday, October 27. Online registration closes at midnight before the parade.
