We are excited to invite you to join us for our 28th Anniversary New Hope Arts and Crafts Festival to be held on September 24-25, 2022. The Festival will be held just a few minutes walk from the center of the business district at the New Hope- Solebury High School.
Over 170 juried artists participate in New Hope, PA’s Annual Outdoor Arts and Crafts Festival. There will be a variety of festival foods. Discounted pay parking is available in the lots on either side of the festival on the school grounds accessible from West Bridge Street, and and there is also parking in Union Square, at the Train Station, and in downtown New Hope with free bus transportation from near the Bucks County Playhouse on South Main and Ferry St from 10am-5pm on Saturday and from 10am-4pm on Sunday.
Please note that there is a “NO SMOKING / NO ALCOHOL” policy on the High School property. Be advised: HANDICAPPED Parking is very LIMITED for the number of visitors we have. We have Handicapped parking spots for Festival Visitors only. Please move your vehicle when leaving the Festival.
Our most often asked question is “Are Dogs Allowed?” School policy is that NO dogs are allowed. “Pets are not permitted on school grounds without prior approval“, and we do not have approval.
New Hope has been recognized as an Arts and Crafts destination for over a century and has been recognized as being in the top 25 Small Art Towns in the USA.
A primary goal of the New Hope Arts & Crafts Festival is to promote the tradition of Fine Arts and Crafts in New Hope and to continue the tradition of the New Hope Arts and Crafts community. Over 160 artists present and sell their work at the annual juried New Hope Outdoor Arts and Crafts Festival in historic New Hope, Pennsylvania.
This prestigious event features the work of premier artists and craftspeople specializing in oil painting, pastels, watercolors, drawing, etching, mixed media, black & white and color photography, soft and hard sculpture, wood turning and rustic furniture, pottery, wearable art including leather and fabric handbags and handspun clothing, jewelry including hand-blown glass beadwork plus precious and semi-precious metals and stones. Many popular local artists participate in the festival in addition to visiting talents from all over PA, NJ, NY, and the rest of the USA.
This is always a great weekend with perfect weather, so (knock wood), we’re hoping to be that lucky again this year…
Over 170 artists & crafters and dozens of volunteers combined to provide a high-quality Festival. The exhibitors were fantastic and the people of our community and all of the surrounding areas were wonderfully supportive, and large numbers of visitors came from a long way for their yearly visit to buy gifts for themselves and friends. If you know an artist or fine craftsman who should show with us, encourage them to apply. We love new talent and have nearly $4000 in prizes! Festival dates are always the last weekend of September. Mark your calendars!
